Science on Saturday will take place on Saturday, November 15th, 2025, from 9-11 am.
Science on Saturday is a fun day of activities to get kids excited about science! Every semester at Truman State University in Kirksville, MO, kids in grades 1-5 from the surrounding area (even as far as Macon!) come to Magruder Hall and attend 20 minute science-related classes.
The Truman State University chapter of Beta Beta Beta, a co-ed biology honors fraternity, has sponsored this event for several years, and it is a valuable experience to all who take part! This year, BBB is joined by the American Chemical Society, the Wildlife Association, the National Education Association, and the American Medical Student Association to host SOS.
